In conclusion, the conflict has been
present for a long period of time; it was just under the surface. Since the
rise of nationalism in East Asia, the issue became massive. Japanese has the
current ownership over the Island while Chinese, in terms of history and
political evidence, holds more strong argument.
I personally support Chinese view, because
of the threat made by the rise of Japanese nationalism over Korea. Korea, also,
is going through the island
conflict with Japan. It is a challenge against the establishment of peace
in Asia and Japan, with other neighboring countries, should reconsider their
political path to make a reasonable agreement to re-established the interrupted
peaceful relationship.
